By reaching us and this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use 1st learn to drive if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page. We'll also provide Terms and Conditions for you to sign in at your first driving lesson.
At the first lesson learner must produce a valid provisional licence or a international driving licence. Eyesight will be checked as learner needs to be able to read a number plate from 20.5 metres distance. Also when booking lessons learner must disclose any physical disability which might affect their driving. The learner must let the driving instructor know about any court judgement and disqualifications related to driving.
If you or your driving instructor wishes or needs to cancel a lesson, then 48 hours notice must be given otherwise the lesson will be charged at the normal rate. To proceed with lessons , payment for lost hours must be paid via bank transfer at least 48 hours prior to next lesson otherwise no lesson will take place.
Your driving lesson will start and finish at your home address unless agreed otherwise. Payment should be done at the beginning of driving lesson.
The instructor reserves the right to withdraw the use of of their cars for the driving test if in their professional opinion the learner is below driving test standard or dangerous to be in the road. If a learner begins lessons with a test date already booked then the use of instructors car will be at the discretion of the instructor.
If you are driving in a deliberately dangerous or malicious manner (whether on a lesson or test) and if a damage is caused, your instructor can reserve the right to terminate the lesson or test. Furthermore if any damage is caused to the tuition vehicle whilst you are on a driving test, your instructor reserves the right to recover cost from you for any damage sustained. This includes (but is not limited to) damage to tyres, alloy wheels or damage to exterior panels caused by scraping past trees, bushes, cars...And (hopefully not) but if a accident happens whilst on the driving test your instructors car and insurance will be affected. In this case instructor reserves the right to charge you to the excess of this policy as you was the driver at that time.
